located at the waterfront of governors island, the project hopes to negotiate the transition between the existing historical buildings and the cityscape of downtown manhattan. with ample public space between the water and the architecture, occupants would be able to engage in the dialogue between the city and leisure, as well as using the alleyway between the architecture and the existing structure to blur the boundaries between the old and the new.
