the far rockaway, probably one of the most disaster vulnerable communities in new york, the challenge of the project is to incorporate disaster-proof landscape feature into the urban site with meaningful land use decision. since social housing is a scarce product in the city, how to arrange housing in this site became a question with the density, circulation, and ease of access.
